Whether you're 16 or 60, if you want to become a licensed driver in Nassau, New York, taking an approved Driver's Ed class will get you one step closer to your goal. The course will teach you everything you need to know about legally operating a vehicle on the different roadways of New York. You'll also learn how to interpret and follow various road signs, including speed limit signs, yield signs, and many others.Before obtaining your New York driver's license, you will need to pass both a written examination and a behind-the-wheel examination.
How to Apply:. Return one copy of your signed Enrollment Contract and applicable Registration and Activity Fees by March 29, 2019 to avoid a Late Fee of $100, and check the box indicating that you intend to apply for Tuition Assistance. Submit the applicable Tuition Assistance Application Fee.

Complete a FACTS Tuition Aid application by simply logging onto You must also send your 2018 Federal Tax return either by uploading it to the FACTS website or by faxing it to FACTS at 1-866-315-9264. If your 2018 Tax Return(s) are not available, submit your 2017 Tax Returns AND 2018 W-2s. Complete this step by March 29, 2019. Submit a signed copy of the HANC Tuition Payment Preference Form indicating your payment option.
